junior web developer - GP Strategies

As a Junior Web Developer, you will work very closely with a Client Manager and support them with the following duties and tasks;

Building websites including front-end and back-end development
Attending client meetings with client manager to discuss client’s website requirements
Implementation of client needs – updating client website with new information, adding new functionalities, carrying out website maintenance etc.
You will also get involved in the creation, development and implementation of Digital Marketing and Social campaigns/initiatives
What will I learn?Modern Apprenticeship/Diploma Programme:

As well as entering full-time employment with a growing business, you will undertake a work-based training programme resulting in the attainment of an SVQ in IT (Web Development Track). This is a 12-month training programme that consists of monthly work-based assessments carried out by a GP Strategies Assessor.

You will also come on some additional classroom based courses specific to developing your knowledge in web development programming languages.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Ideally candidate with have some kitchen experience.  Either have an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or the willingness to study for one.  Great record keeping and organisational skills will be essential.  
​As a Kitchen Assistant at HC One, you’ll value one thing above all. Kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. And, by joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.

For you, that will mean helping to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals that our residents will love. You’ll demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety and hygiene. And, whether you’re maintaining food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures, showing new starters how to use the equipment or scrubbing that last bit of spilled food from inside the oven, you’ll always have resident well-being in mind above anything else.

Great record keeping and organisational skills will be essential, as will the ability to follow recipes. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

Warehouse Operative Apprentice - Arnold clark

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Minimum requirements are Maths, English, science or a craft subject at standard grade level 4 or above, national 4 or above and intermediates will also be accepted.

As an apprentice you will be employed from the start of your training, allowing you to earn a wage whilst you learn new skills and gain a qualification. You will be working towards a recognised qualification, skilled employment and greater career prospects.
Warehousing apprentices are based within a warehouse environment, getting involved in receiving goods from deliveries, placing goods in storage and processing orders from dispatch to customers. Assembling orders for dispatch and dispatching goods for delivery will also be part of the course.
GTG Training provides students with the best training environment to develop skills, together with full time employment opportunities to help develop skills further. Regular assessments and reviews will ensure apprentices achieve the required skills to successfully complete their modern apprenticeship.

Hairdresser modern apprenticeship - Rainbow room international

  • You will be based in a salon four days a week, and train in the Academy for one day (either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday). 

  • You will be working towards a MA in hairdressing which is made up of a series of units and modules covering everything from cutting, colouring, treatments and perming to reception work and customer care. You will also be coached and mentored by experienced stylists who are passionate about developing new talent. 

  • In addition, you will need to source models to work on every week for assessments and bring your equipment to the Academy on training days.
