What we do
DYW Regional Groups were established to bridge the gap between education and employers.
DYW Forth Valley do this by facilitating, encouraging and supporting businesses to create and develop meaningful, sustainable partnerships that develop young people by engaging directly with education; and encouraging local businesses to employ more young people.
In Forth Valley with many successful partnerships and initiatives already up and running, we recognise we need to do more, and help more of our employers enjoy the benefits from supporting and employing young people. The DYW Programme Team aim to make the process as simple as possible, connecting businesses with education for the benefit of all involved.
This will ensure that young people are equipped with the skills, experiences and qualifications they need to move to positive destinations after school, can make informed choices about the jobs and careers they want to pursue, and harness an emerging talent pool for employers to attract the next generation workforce into their industry.
