     As Procurement Intern, you’ll be responsible for:
    • Assist in the preparation of request for proposals and quotations utilising suppliers from the appropriate company Approved Suppliers Database.

    • Compilation of data relating to supplier responses, highlighting inconsistences and differences, presenting information and responses in a manor to enable evaluation.

    • Carrying out initial supplier evaluations to establish recommendations for designated procurement exercises
    • Support Buyers in their final negotiations with selected suppliers to enable contract award.

    • Raise Purchase Orders for Materials and Plant Hire requirements in line with company policies and procedures.
    • Work with and advise Project Teams on material specifications and alternatives where appropriate.

    • Provide regular inputs to reports on procurement betterment and supplier performance.

  • Supplier Bookings at Origin, Liaising with our Agent overseas to organise the consignment collection, Organise the process via Airfreight, Ocean freight or Sea/Air or Rail Services, Liaise with the Airlines, Shipping Lines or Transport Companies on the arrival of goods in the U.K., Organise the pre-delivery process from collecting at the Port or the Airport, Organising the delivery to our premises or direct to the client, Managing the Customs Clearance Process, Client Services – Managing the Client in the U.K, Organising the Delivery, Closing out the file inclusive of invoicing and filing
