Project Engineer Apprentice Opportunity

Are you a tenacious problem-solver, who’s proud of getting a great job done and someone who shows integrity, respect for others and, above all, a passion for learning something new every day, then Diageo want to hear from you.

Diageo want to give any young person the chance to have a virtual chat with members of their engineering team who will help bring this opportunity to life and are particularly keen to identify and speak to females, who may have never considered an apprenticeship.

This four year apprenticeship has  been structured to get the very best out of you, blending academic study with work based learning.  You will be employed full time, spending 4 days a week in the workplace and 1 day a week at university. You will finish your apprenticeship with a degree in Engineering: Instrumentation, Measurement and Control (IMC) and the knowledge, understanding, skills and competence required to progress into a career in Engineering or Project Management.

Given the successful candidate will be working full time and studying towards a degree, Diageo are keen to interview ASAP with a view to the successful candidate joining the business at the end of August to start university in September (subject to change given the unpredictable situation at the moment).

"Diageo apprentices have the best of all worlds. Our on-site, fast-learning programmes are perfect for people who are curious and have a willingness to learn. If you want to gain a work based degree in Engineering that will set you up for a career to be proud of, you’re in the right place. With everything you can learn here and the long-term opportunities we have to offer, the Diageo Project Engineer apprenticeship could just be the best decision you’ve ever made."

Gillian Dalziel | Early Career Specialist/Alcohol in Society Executive
