LOCATION: Falkirk JOB TYPE: Full time WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 13/03/19  Job Overview Being an OGTAP apprentice gives you the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification combined with practical work experience with some of the most innovative oil and gas companies. Applicants can choose from 1 of 4 disciplines: - Instrument and Control Maintenance - Mechanical Maintenance - Electrical Maintenance - Processing Hydrocarbons. What will I learn? As an apprentice you will: - Study towards a related qualification - Work alongside experienced staff and work closely with peers - Gain job-specific skills - Earn while you learn. You will attend college for 21 months, where the following qualifications will be attained: - Performing Engineering Operations, SVQ Level 2 - National Certificate (mixed discipline) - Higher National Certificate (chosen discipline) - OPITO Global Level 2 Training Certificate: Oil and Gas Processing - BOSIET with CA-EBS - MIST - ISSOW/Gas Testing - ECITB Safety Passports (for ECITB apprentices only). |
