Glenbervie Golf Club is currently hiring and looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the kitchen team. As the kitchen assistant you will be a valuable part of a team that thrives on operating an excellent member and guest dining experience. This presents an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop their skills and play their part in the continued success of this prestigious golf club. 
The successful candidate will work alongside our head chef as part of a tight-knit team in an exciting, fast moving environment, preparing food to order, cleaning and washing up whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.  
Responsibilities 

• General food preparation 
• Unloading deliveries from suppliers 
• Organise and tidy the store rooms 
• Washing work surfaces, floors, walls etc 
• Support the chef’s with food service 
• Ensure set policies and procedures are adhered to
• Comply with all health and safety regulations 

Entry requirements / skills 

• Self motivated and enthusiastic 
• Work as part of a team   
• Take direction from the senior chef on duty 
• Well organised with an attention to detail
• Experience is desirable and basic food hygiene is essential
