On 6th March we want to harness the power of social media networks to showcase the benefits of apprenticeships to parents and carers. Scotland’s Biggest Parents’ Evening is part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2019 has been developed by DYW in partnership with SDS.

DYW regional groups are working together to arrange a series of events aimed at parents and carers, as key influencers of young people, to show them the benefits of apprenticeships.

As part of this we would like to invite employers across Forth Valley to share key apprenticeship messages with the parents and carers in their workforce.

Many of you are keen to promote the apprenticeship pathways your business offers and may already have events planned during national apprenticeship week or may be inspired to think about how you can showcase what you are doing to debunk myths and misconceptions about apprenticeships that are common to parents/carers.   
 
Why don’t you take advantage of this national campaign and join us on the 6th of March to promote what you are doing.
