Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Councils’ are currently in the process of applying to become a Kickstart Representative (or Intermediary) through which Forth Valley Businesses can apply to host Kickstart work placements.

The Kickstart Scheme has been created to provide new 6-month paid work placements (fully funded) for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

If a business is recruiting a minimum of 30 new young people (via Kickstart), you can apply directly to the DWP. If a business is recruiting for any number under 30 young people then you must do so through a representative organisation.

Businesses interested in hosting a Kickstart placement can complete the attached form below and return it to their local authority area – details are on the attached application template.

Interested employers should complete the template and return no later than Monday 28th September 2020.

More information on Kickstart is available HERE.
